[Selected for Phase 2 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' Specialized Farming Startup Project]
Chonnam National University has been re-selected for phase two of the 'Specialized Farming Startup Project' by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. This project, promoted by the Ministry, is designed to cultivate young entrepreneurs in farming equipped with specialized skills and management abilities. In the second phase, the program aims to strengthen the capabilities of university students and high school students through connections and implement a 'Living Lab' program in cooperation with the community. It will focus on nurturing digital farming technologists suited to the current era, enhanced with artificial intelligence, by supplementing existing programs.

[Selected as a 'Joint Training Center for Industrial Transition' by the Employment and Labor Center]
Chonnam National University's Yeosu Campus has been newly selected as a 'Joint Training Center for Industrial Transition,' organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Industrial Human Resources Corporation. This center is a new type of national human resource development consortium that provides job enhancement training and comprehensively supports business restructuring and employee job transition proactively in response to industrial structure changes.

[Agreement to Enhance Employment of Disabled Sports Athletes]
The Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation of Chonnam National University, led by Director Min Jeong-joon, employed 11 disabled athletes to contribute to the creation of social value, including job provision for the vulnerable and the realization of welfare, through the employment of severely disabled sports athletes in the Gwangju area.
These athletes, who are registered with the Gwangju Metropolitan City Disabled Sports Association, have been recruited through a selection process for four sports: golf, billiards, archery, and tennis. They will participate in various disabled sports competitions as athletes affiliated with the Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation of Chonnam National University.
This employment is in accordance with the business agreement for the enhancement of disabled sports athletes' employment, which was signed on September 16 among the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled, the Gwangju Metropolitan City Disabled Sports Association, and the Chonnam National University Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation.

[Job Fair with Gwangju Metropolitan City]
The JobPlus Center of Chonnam National University, led by Professor Nam Ho-jeong, held the '2022 Gwangju Buk-gu Job Matching Day' offline job fair at the convention hall of Chonnam National University. The fair was organized to provide direct connections between companies and job seekers, offering a wide range of recruitment information and employment-related services in one place.
