Chonnam National University, Yeosu Campus, collaborated with the city of Yeosu, local economic organizations, and industrial companies to conduct marine debris and plastic waste cleanup activities. This event, held in July, involved not only Chonnam National University students but also over 120 participants from various organizations, including Yeosu-related groups, businesses, and industrial workers. Through this initiative, students became more aware of the importance of environmental protection by actively participating in environmental conservation campaigns alongside the local community. It also aimed to maintain a clean environment in the Yeosu National Industrial Complex and increase employment opportunities for students through volunteer activities.
