Chonnam National University has established the "Guidelines on the Prevention and Handling of Human Rights Violations and Discrimination" to prevent and address any disadvantages or unfair environments created in academic evaluations, employment, research, personnel matters, etc., based on sex, race, skin color, language, religion, political or other opinions, national or social origin, membership in a minority, property, birth or other status.

[Basic Plan for the Eradication of Abuse of Power at Chonnam National University]
 

Chonnam National University has established the "Basic Plan for the Eradication of Abuse of Power" to fundamentally change the systems and culture that induce abuse of power and mistreatment of socially disadvantaged individuals by those in superior positions.
 
The university plans to gradually reduce such mistreatment by establishing and utilizing an abuse prevention infrastructure through various consultative bodies within the university and enhancing the inspection of abuse cases.

Chonnam National University has established the "Graduate Students' Rights Charter" to protect the inviolable basic human rights of graduate students and to contribute to the realization of human dignity and value by enhancing their standards.
 
Article 2 (Basic Principles), Paragraph 3 of the charter stipulates that graduate students must not be discriminated against based on gender, academic background, nationality, age, disability, religion, or political orientation.
