8.2.6 employment practice policy pay scale
 
Chonnam National University unequivocally does not discriminate in terms of labor conditions based on gender, nationality, faith, social status, type of employment, among others.
 
These matters are documented as follows and guarantee absolute safety in labor conditions:

[Labor Standards Act]

 
Chonnam National University complies with the Labor Standards Act of South Korea. The Labor Standards Act is a law established to guarantee the minimum rights of workers, providing a basic legal framework regarding working conditions and relationships between workers and employers. This law regulates employment contracts, working hours, holidays, leaves, wages, welfare benefits, dismissals, etc., and aims to improve the working conditions of workers, and promote labor stability and welfare enhancement.
 
Article 6 (Equal Treatment): The employer shall not discriminate against workers based on gender, nor discriminate in terms of working conditions based on nationality, faith, or social status.

Article 4 (Equal Treatment): The university shall not engage in discriminatory treatment regarding labor conditions on the basis of gender, nationality, faith, social status, type of employment, or any other reason.
